A SEASON OF LOVE:

REUNION OF THE HEART

Loving people is the purpose for which Jesus came--to give life to the lost so that His love could remain in the hearts of all who receive Him, to impart to everyone.

Show your love to people by extending to them something that you enjoy—the love of Christ—at a Reunion of the Heart luncheon.

Plan to bring someone who needs a friend, someone who is lonely, someone depressed and discouraged, someone who is lost. Each one who brings one will pay for their meal. The one you bring will receive a gift to warm their hearts, and the gift of friendship, our prayers and caring. This is the purpose for these gatherings, to show love to someone who needs to see Christ in us.

Remember the one in ten. There were ten lepers healed and only one turned back to give thanks. (Luke 17:11-19) But it is to be noticed that our Lord did not recall his gifts from the other nine because of their lack of gratitude. When we begin to lessen our acts of kindness and helpfulness because we think those who receive do not properly appreciate what is done for them, it is time to question our motive. True lovers give. Give yourself away to someone else.

Bring as many as you can. Loving people is the purpose of Christ; for this he died. Our purpose is the same; for this we live. If you can bring more than one and need help paying for meals, call.
